The increase in CT and SCC is the main factor affecting the quality of the milk obtained. Generally, the number of microorganisms is associated with the purity of milk that has an external origin while somatic cells are internal indicators of animal health. If the amount is above normal, it means that the animal is affected by an inflammatory process - implicit or mastitis, internal infection, etc.

Heat treatment cannot completely restore the normal quality of milk as a medium for lactic acid bacteria development. However, the product obtained is more like a curd from a clot.

The filter for the treatment of milk from somatic cells reduces CT and SCC to levels that are in line with the high European criteria. As a modern method for bacterial purification of milk, this is one of the innovative methods for improving the quality of milk and extending the shelf life of all dairy products. The filter is easy to apply; comfortable to use; with a capacity of 2 to 30 tons of milk. Physical-chemical parameters (pH, density, fat) of the milk do not change. The biggest advantage of the filter is that it does not require disassembly, which needs only quick and easy replacement of the filter elements.
